Office Manager
Born in Philadelphia, I spent my childhood moving every few years because my father was a lifelong member of the US Marine Corps. In my senior year of high school, we were stationed in Arlington, Virginia, where I excelled academically and passed the Civil Service entrance test. I began my career at Marine Corps headquarters, managing personal records for Marines worldwide.
After starting a family I ran a home daycare for 14 years. After moving, was office manager of the American Red Cross Health and Safety Division in Roanoke Virginia. In 1990 a friend introduced me to MICH knowing how much I missed working with and my passion for children. This year marks my 35th anniversary of MICH.
